The EndBadGovernance Protest in Nigeria

Hey My Gee.

How are you doing My Gee. You know in the midst of all the things happening in the country, Nigerians are still good and generous people when called upon. An example is that of a Nigerian couple who recently welcomed quadruplets during this hard times, surprisingly Nigerians on social media donated a sum over 10 million naira in just 24 hours. Well we are indeed a struggling country with a good heart 😃

"Nigerians React to New Minimum Wage: 'We're Rich! (For 5 Minutes)'"

In a surprise move, the Nigerian government recently announced an increase in the minimum wage. And by "surprise move", we mean "long-overdue attempt to keep up with inflation".

Reactions from Nigerians have been mixed, ranging from excitement to skepticism.

The same way the new update triggered reactions from Nigerians, it also triggered a special type of reactions from Nysc corpers. As a result of the increase, Corpers monthly allowance popularly known as Allawee saw a significant increase also. As a Corper myself, this feeling and excitement was unmatched. Though most of us anticipated the increase will be paid in this current month, but that wasn’t the case and some of us were disappointed but at least the happy feeling didn’t fade away because we know fully well the increase will show face next month, so we no foor.

After the joyous feeling of the increase in minimum wage, Nigerians began to worry about the impact of the increase on other aspect of things in the country. In past years, prices and cost of living are known to elevate immediately there is an increase in income level of an average Nigerian. We all blame the government for high inflation and bad economy, but truth be told, the Nigerians in charge of commodities, the Nigerians facilitating sells of essential needs, the Nigerians at the core karakata have to be questioned on the reasons why cost of living always have to rise immediately there is an increase in income level of an average Nigerian. The government are bad in many ways but at the same time the people are bad in many ways also. In Nigeria, we never really seem to enjoy the positive effects of increase in minimum wage.

In conclusion, the new minimum wage increase has brought a mix of joy, sarcasm, and eye-rolling from Nigerians. Because let's face it, we all know that inflation is just around the corner, waiting to steal our joy (and our money).

The Busier-Than-Thou Prophecy: A Warning to Procrastinators

Have you ever found yourself thinking, "I'll do it tomorrow, I'm too busy today"? Well, let me break it to you gently: tomorrow is a myth perpetuated by procrastinators.

The truth is, you will get busier. It's not a maybe, it's a definite. Your schedule will become a never-ending game of Tetris, with new tasks and responsibilities piling up faster than you can say "I'm too busy".

So, what's the solution? Simple: just do it now.

Think of it like this: if you put off eating a pizza until tomorrow, it won't magically disappear (unfortunately). The slices will still be there, taunting you, until you finally give in and devour the whole thing in one sitting (no judgment).

Similarly, your tasks won't vanish into thin air just because you're busy. They'll linger, growing more menacing with each passing day, until you're stuck pulling an all-nighter to meet a deadline.

So, take it from me: you will get busier. But by doing things now, you'll avoid the stress, guilt, and inevitable pizza-fueled cram sessions that come with procrastination.

In conclusion, remember the ancient proverb: "You Will Get Busier, So Just Do It Now". Or, at the very least, remember that pizza doesn't wait for anyone.

Hope this made you laugh and inspired you to tackle your tasks head-on!

Dangote’s Latest Interview

In a recent interview, Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, made a shocking announcement: he's willing to sell the Dangote Refinery to the Nigerian government. But why?

The Dangote Refinery is a massive project that can produce 650,000 barrels of fuel per day. It was meant to help Nigeria reduce its reliance on foreign fuel imports and save money. However, the project has faced challenges, including supply chain issues and accusations of producing low-quality fuel.

Some people have also accused Dangote of trying to control the fuel market in Nigeria, which he denies. To prove his critics wrong, he's willing to sell the refinery to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).

Dangote, who is 67 years old, says he doesn't need the refinery to live a comfortable life. He wants to help his country and is willing to let go of the project to achieve that goal.

This surprise move has sparked interest and debate. Will the Nigerian government accept Dangote's offer? Only time will tell. One thing is certain, though: Aliko Dangote's decision has opened up a new chapter in the story of the Dangote Refinery and Nigeria's fuel industry.
