The Sapiosexual’s Guide to Attracting Brainy Babes (or Bae)
Hey My Gee.
Through out this week, I have been listening to Olamide's song MOROWORE from his newly released album. For me the song is somehow dedicated to all hustlers who wake up every morning to fight against all odds and beat every circumstances to become a better person and most importantly who finds a way to give gratitude to God for all he has done. Psychology says, it is not the rhythms and lyrics that makes good song but the emotions, moments attached and inspiration received from it. That's what makes a good music. MOROWORE by Olamide is definitely a good music or song..

Nigerian Youths & Debt
The Debt Cycle: A Love Story Between Nigerian Youths and Their Creditors…..
Nigerian youths, we are stuck in a debt cycle that’s harder to escape than a Lagos traffic jam! But don’t worry, we are here to laugh at our misery (because crying won’t pay the bills).
Ah, the sweet embrace of debt! It is like a bad partner who won’t leave you alone, but somehow you can’t resist. Nigerian youths, we know the drill. You are stuck in vicious cycle of borrowing, spending, and owing, but don’t worry, we are here to poke fun at our misery…. Err, we mean, offer some lighthearted insights.
Section 1: The Seduction of Credit
Credit Is like that one friend who always says, “just one more naira, I will pay you back tomorrow! But tomorrow never comes, and you are left with a debt hangover. You see, credit is also like that charming stranger who whispers sweet nothings in your ear. “Take me, I am yours!” says the credit card, “just one more loan, and you will be living large!” says the loan shark. And you, dear youth, are like putty in their hands.
Section 2: The Debt Spiral
You borrow to pay for a wedding, then another loan for a car, and before you know it, you are in debt up to your eyeballs! It is like playing a game of financial Jenga – one wrong move, and it all comes crashing down. So fast forward to that part where you are drowning in debt, and your creditors are like that one aunt who wont stop calling. “Pay me, pay me, pay me!” they chant like a Greek chorus. But you are like, “uh, I am on diet…. From paying bills”.
Section 3: The Cycle of Shame
You promise to change, but then you need a new phone or concert ticket, and before you know it, you are back in debt, like a bad habit. It is like trying to quit Jollof rice – impossible!
Section 4: The Enablers
Your friends are like,” Yes, take that loan! You only live once! Your family is like, don’t worry, we will help you out…...again, “and social media is like, “keep up with the Joneses…. Or in this case, the Kardashians!”
Section 5: The Breakup
But then, something snaps, you realize you have had enough of the debt cycle. You cut up your credit cards, delete the loan apps, and swear off debts…. Until the next temptation comes along.
Wahala!!! 😆 😂
So, Nigeria youths let raise a glass (of debt) to our never-ending love affair with credit! May our wallets someday be free from debt, but until then…. well, at least we have each other (and our creditors).
Sapiosexuality!
I spent a lot of time on TikTok this week, during those times I came across a video content where the content creator made the video around sapiosexuality. She was basically saying she is sapiosexual. Most people don’t have the idea of what sapiosexual means and at the same time most people who claim out loud that they are sapiosexual are not even as intelligent as they think they are.
First for those of us that have no idea of what sapiosexual means,
Sapiosexual refers to a person who is attracted to intelligence, wisdom, and knowledge in a partner or crush.
Sapiosexuality is often described as a form of attraction that values intellectual connection, creative thinking, and insightful conversations. People who identify as sapiosexual may find themselves drawn to individuals who are:
Intelligent and Insightful
Creative and Innovative
Well-read and Knowledgeable
Thoughtful and Introspective
Witty and Humorous
So if you are indeed a sapiosexual, well this little article below is definitely for you.
The Sapiosexual’s Guide to Attracting Brainy Babes (or Bae)
Are you sapiosexual? Do you find yourself swooning over someone’s intellect rather than their abs? well, you are in luck!
Here are some tips to attract someone who shares your love for big brains and witty banter:
Show of your smarts: share your favorite books, podcasts, or ted talks on social media. Nothing screams “sapiosexual” like a well-placed reference to Foucault or Nietzsche.
Use your words: ditch the pickup lines and try some clever wordplay instead. Ask someone about their favorite theory or philosophical framework. Trust me, it is a turn-on.
Embrace your quirks: sapiosexuals love someone who’s a little unconventional. So go ahead, wear that “I am stupid” t-shirt with an arrow pointing to your own head. It is a conversation starter!
Be confident: intelligence is sexy, so own it! Walk into the coffee shop or bookstore like you are the smartest person in the room (even if you are not).
Find your tribe: join a book club, attend a lecture, or participate in a debate team. Wherever you go, make sure it is filled with people who appreciate a good argument and a well-crafted sentence.
So, there you have it! With these tips, you will be well on your way to attracting someone who shares your love for all things intellectual. Happy dating, sapiosexuals!

PELLER the Nigerian TikToker
TikToker Peller recently won the following awards ¹ ² ³:
Trace Awards Africa’s Best Content Creator
Trend Up Award 2024 for the “Emerging Force” category
For those of us who have little idea of who Peller is, here is something for you:
Meet Peller, the Nigerian Tiktoker taking the world social media world by storm.
In the vast world of social media, few creators have made significant impact like Peller, a Nigerian tiktoker, with his unique blend of humor, dance and creativity. Peller has captured the heart of young Nigerians with his style.
Recently he became the only Nigerian Tiktoker with 50,000 online presences in live stream on Tiktok. A record he later broke, by having another 60,000 online presences in his live stream chat with Olamide Badoo.
Peller’s acceptance speech for the Trace Awards Africa’s Best Content Creator was notable for its humor and humility, as he expressed his shock at receiving the award at such a young age and thanked God and his supporters for his success.
As he continues to entertain and inspire fans on Tiktok, his legacy as a Nigerian Tiktoker is cemented.
TOYIN ABRAHAM AIMAKUN
During the last presidential election, Toyin Abraham declared her support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu known and she is also a big advocate of his current administration. But, due to the current situation of the country and frustration of Nigerian youths, Toyin has been receiving heavy backlash on different social media platforms. Trolls all over X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram have taken it as a daily stuff to criticize Toyin of her choice of presidential candidate and cursed her in many different ways.
This disgraceful act makes me wonder if we no longer have free choice to choose our desired presidential candidates as an individual citizen of the country.
Through out this week. Toyin Abraham has been placed into the spotlight again by trolls after she reported trolls who cursed her for supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 general election to the police for cyberbullying.
Aside from Toyin Abraham, many Nollywood actors and actress declared their support for Tinubu. Now, the fact that she is out is now mystery to some of us. In one of her replies to an X user identified as #Lati, she noted that she has moved on to purse her career as an actress and was not in government or politics anymore.
The X user Toyin Abraham reported to the police goes by the name #Ayo, an after much wahala everywhere he has been released.
I hope Nigerians will one day realize she is not wrong for voting and supporting the candidate of her choice, and what is currently happening now in the country is not her fault. I come in Peace
